Before entering the practice of law, Jake Knanishu worked in the fields of healthcare IT and educational content development. His experiences working for large corporations and as an independent contractor are what led him to join the legal profession. He now specializes in contract disputes and unemployment appeals.
While in law school at the University of Georgia, Jake’s studies focused on constitutional law and racial discrimination. He was also a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law and the Executive Board of the American Constitution Society.
Jake earned his Bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis, with minors in physics and classical studies. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, bar trivia, playing soccer, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers.
