By now, the $700,000 jury verdict in the Stacey Kalberman case is well-known throughout Georgia. But in the lesser-known state whistleblower case of Jennifer Ward v. State Ethics Commission, attorney Regan Keebaugh, while an attorney with the firm of Parks, Chesin & Walbert, brought an action that ultimately yielded a $280,000 settlement on behalf of his client, who was fired after disclosing that two attorneys for the Ethics Board were operating a separate consulting firm on state time.
Full coverage of the settlement can be found in this article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
